About Therapy

Interpersonal psychotherapy is an evidence based treatment used to treat a wide range of mental health conditions. The purpose of this therapy is to explore the link between mental illness and interpersonal relationships and their impact on each other. By exploring this link together individuals can  improve their interpersonal relationships and mental wellbeing. This therapy modality offers a flexible approach which allows individuals to explore areas such as conflict, life transitions, grief, and isolation. I also use weave in modalities such as CBT, ACT, and motivational interviewing.

You might be curious as to what a therapy session might be like. You may or may not know what to say. That's ok! My aim is to create a safe space where we can explore your feelings together. Having studied interpersonal psychotherapy at a postgraduate level I really do believe this therapy helps individuals towards making meaningful change.

If you are unsure if this approach is right for you, please contact me via the contact form and I will be in touch. Finding someone you feel comfortable sharing with is so important.
